The Miikanan Gallery is seeking art and poetry submissions for its inaugural exhibit. The Aazhoomon Juried Art Exhibition is scheduled to open November 2017. Deadline to submit work is August 28.

While the exhibit celebrates the diverse Ojibwe creative culture, artist submissions from all Indigenous nations will be welcome.

Work should reflect the title of the exhibition. The Miikanan is open to broad interpretations of the following concept:
Converge: Come from different directions and meet.
Convergence: The point of converging; a meeting place. A crossroads.
