“All cultures change over time, but they are changing faster in our age of globalization.  While change happens all around us, my particular interest is countries which are little known due to distance or governmental policy.  Isolated high in the Himalayas, the Bhutan is geographically remote and has only recently open its borders to visitors.  Isolated by government policy, Cuba is politically remote but policies are changing to allow more travel and communication with the U.S. ”
