DESCRIPTION:OPEN HOUSE JULY 12\, 5-7pm. \nSue Rauschenfels’ “For the Love of Trees” paintings are created from the heart and rooted\, grown and developed from a childhood spent exploring outdoor play in the woods while building strong lifelong relationships with her 6 sisters and neighborhood friends. \nHer rendering of this new trees series using vibrant color\, mark making\, textural elements of collage and mixed media to tell their story is her way of honoring and thanking them for their gifts – impacting people positively socially\, mentally and supporting healthy human interaction.

SUMMARY:OFFICIAL 56th Watermark Art Festival-Saturday
DESCRIPTION:The 56th Annual Watermark Art Festival will be held July 20 (Saturday 10 to 5pm) and 21(Sunday 10 to 4pm) in Bemidji MN. With over 100 vendors\, food and music\, this juried fine art and craft festival has been a summer highlight for Northern Minnesotan residents and tourists since 1967. Vendors sell a wide variety of items including hand-crafted wood items\, ceramics\, apparel\, jewelry\, photography\, metalworking\, greeting cards\, homemade preserves\, soaps\, stained glass\, original paintings\, garden art and more! \nThe two-day festival draws thousands of visitors to Downtown Bemidji. The festival area has been expanded to include the Watermark Art Center grounds as well as the historic tree-lined Library Park across the street. \nEvery year\, many new artists join the festiva. In addition to artist demonstrations\, there will be three stages\, entertainment\, music and food. Watermark Art Center will also be open for visitors to the galleries and gift shop. \nThe event would not be possible without our Event Partner Paul Bunyan Communications and the many repeat sponsors & friends of the Festival. \nOfficial Program page →
