Field Note – April 14,2020

Making my way out to sunrise and unusually cold temperatures I knew there would be interesting ice textures and formations that are part of Ziigwan. I love seeing the way water documents and responds to the negotiations between Winter and Spring. I felt lucky to see this little piece of water memory tucked along a quiet corner of the lakeshore illuminated by the early morning light.
