It’s a great way to connect and share your passion for art. The Members Show is just one of the benefits you receive when you join the Watermark Art Center!

ARTIST TIMELINE FOR 2024
The CALL has closed.
The Bi-annual Members Show will be on display September 6 through October 25 (updated).
Work shown in previous Members Shows or exhibits will not be accepted.
Work must be original and created by the artist applying.
Watermark will make no modifications to prepare work for exhibit. Work must be stable and ready to hang.
TIMELINE:
- You must be a member when you apply and during the entire show
- Memberships may be purchased/renewed online, by mail or in person
- Artwork will be Juried in August. Accepted work notifications will go out the week after August 10.
- Accepted work should be at Watermark on or before August 24.
- The exhibit opening and artists’ reception will be held on September 6, from 5 to 7pm.
- The exhibit closes October 25 (updated). Work must be picked up as soon as possible after this date or arrangements made.
Watermark encourages exhibiting artists to sell their work for commission, but you are not required to sell. If your work is accepted for the show, we will ask for an insurance value and whether you want to sell.
New for 2024: VIDEO!
Video shorts of original film or animation will be accepted for the first time ever! Watermark will provide space for 2 videos in the 2024 Members Show final exhibit. Please follow these instructions:
- The time limit is capped at 90 seconds per finished piece
- No slideshows of still imagery will be accepted
- Video can not contain any copyrighted images or music
- If accepted for show, the artist must provide a device set-up (ex. TV, AV player with monitor, digital frame) that will play and loop the video and can be controlled by Watermark staff. The device will not have access to internet. The device will not be wall mounted.
- Sound, if any, must be audible at low volume with closed captions included for spoken word.
- Video submissions for Jury must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with the URL link listed where requested on the submission form. No storage devices (ex. DVD, thumb drive, SD card, etc.) will be accepted with the application process. *Make sure your privacy setting are such that the Jury can view the video when opening the link without a password AND the Jury can view it between July 20 and August 10.

Beginning in 2020, the Members Show became a bi-annual event.
Members submit pieces of their own original work to be juried in for this bi-annual exhibit.
The 2020 show, shown here, featured a variety of mediums: paintings and photography, textiles, wood, and more!
