  • Watermark Art Center (formerly BCAC) – presents the 11th Annual It’s Only Clay National Juried Ceramics Exhibit featuring work by Juror Andrea Leila Denecke.  This national exhibit features work by 23 artists from around the United States.  The event will also feature work by Denecke in the exhibit and for purchase in Shop 426.  Reception is from 5 to 7pm with a brief presentation and announcement of the awards.  IOC 2013 is Co-sponsored by the BCAC and Bemidji State University. Support is provided by the Holiday Inn Express – Bemidji and the BSU Foundation.  IOC 2013 is also made possible, in part, by a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council and funding by an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund and the Bemidji Area Arts Endowment – component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation.
  • Beltrami County History Center features artwork on display from Gallery North, along with their new history center exhibit “Trails Through Time” and will be open from 12 to 4pm during the November First Friday Art Walk.
  • Bemidji Public Library – presents Beverlee Olson of Lake George, MN as the featured artist during the month of November.  Her exhibit, “Mixed Up Mixed Media”, includes art work done in watercolor, acrylic, gel printing, black and white collage, assemblage, dyed silk, collage with found objects, and fused glass panels.
  • Cabin Coffee House – HUNTING WIDOWS SPECIAL at The Cabin Coffeehouse, 214 3rd St.  Multimedia artists, Terry Honstead and Dee Najjar are offering a SALE for the whole month of November.  Join us for the opening reception, Friday, November 1st, 4-6 pm.  Drawings for prizes!   
  • Dunn Bros presents artist Diana J. Collison-Jones.  Works in several mediums including copper tooling (engraving), oil painting, acrylic painting  Join us on November 1st from 5 to 7pm.
  • SPECIAL DATE! Friday Nov 15 Event – Glazed and Amused –will feature nature photography and inspirational verse by Deb Krueger, along with photo cards and wrapped rock necklaces for the month of November.   Join us on November 15th for a special Meet and Greet with the artist and Open House with refreshments served from 5:30-7 pm.  
  • Gallery North – presents Gallery North’s “Christmas Boutique” as the Showcase Artist for the month of November with a reception on Friday afternoon, November 1st from 2-5 pm. Join us during First Friday for this annual event and to meet our Featured Artists  Diana Collison-Jones and Patty Lovegreen.
  • SPECIAL DATE! Friday Nov 15 Event  – Neilson Place presents an acrylic painting display of “Walking Through Nature” by Maureen O’Brien beginning November 15th.   Meet and talk with Maureen on Friday, November 15, 2013, from 3:00-4:30 in the Neilson Place lobby.
  • Rail River Folk School – presents the Northwoods Folk Collective Open Stage offering an opportunity to share stories, music, poetry and other performance art with an attentive, enthusiastic, inter-generational audience.
