Saturday: Just $10 admission gets attendees into a vendor market filled with fiber-related items, free mini classes, trunk shows, demos, coffee and homemade treats, door prizes and more.
FEATURED THIS YEAR
Fabric painter Pam Collins will present a trunk show and class on landscape collages on Saturday. Collins is a recipient of Five Wings Art Council grants and has studied under nationally known artists. She has lead numerous watercolor, fabric and mosaic workshops in her studio, as well as area art centers and school districts. Collins lives in Staples, MN. Learn more at pamcollinsart.com.
Quilt Designer Marilyn Foreman will teach a quilting class on Friday, plus present a trunk show and twister tool demo Saturday. Foreman is a nationally-recognized quilt designer. She has published over 50 patterns, filmed a Craftsy video and been featured in several publications. Her book, Kaleidoscope Symphony, includes patterns for table toppers, runners, throws and bed quilts. She lives in St. Paul, MN. Learn more at quiltmoments.com.

Memo Pad Basket with Eve Sumsky
Weave a fun basket to hold your memo pads and pens! Students will start with a 2″ X 6″ oval wood base that has been prepared with the stakes ready to weave. Basic weaving techniques are used and beginners are welcome. There will be a few color and decorative choices to complete your basket. Materials fee = $10-$15 (depending on decorative choice) Dimensions: 7 1/2″ x 4″ x 4 1/2″. Students should bring the following to class: old towel, tape measure, pencil, heavy scissors, small bucket or dish pan for water, clothes pins or small clamps, awl or small flat screwdriver.
Stitched Stones with Lisa Jordan
Learn to wet-felt soft wool around a stone to make a seamless felted surface on which to stitch, and learn some tricks to stitching on this non-traditional surface. Each student will make a felted stone of their own to take home and may bring a special rounded stone of their own if they would like (no bigger than palm-size). A pre-felted stone will be provided for stitching upon. Some basic knowledge of embroidery stitches is helpful.
Introduction to Knitting with Beads with Kate Kalvig
Kate Kalvig will teach you about the various ways you can use beads in knitting and teach you the hook beading method on a fingerless mitten pattern. Supplies required: Size 1 (2.25 mm) knitting needles (double-pointed or a 32″ circular for magic loop). Level: Intermediate to advanced. Optional kit with yarn and beads available for $15.
Entwined Table Runner with Marilyn Foreman
Beginner Rug Hooking with Bonnie Lundorff
Learn the basics of this century old technique using the Oxford Rug Punch tool. Students will make a 7” project. Kit fee is $30. All tools and materials needed will be provided for use in the class.
