Get to know the plants in Watermark’s gardens through observation and fun facts! Whether you are trying watercolors for the first time or you have been painting with watercolor for years, don’t miss this opportunity with artist Tammy Nara for drawing and painting lessons that are designed to benefit anyone interested in nature themed art.

Four class times/dates to choose from:
Wednesday, June 26, 10:00-12:00,  ages 3rd-8th grade
Wednesday, June 26, 1:00-3:00,   adults and teens
Saturday, June 29, 10:00-12:00, ages 3rd-8th grade
Saturday, June 29, 1:00-3:00,   adults and teens

Class fee : $38. Families of adults and children together may register for any session; however the registration fee is required for each participant.

You will use professional grade watercolors and illustration pens to create 5in x 7in plant portraits and landscapes. Creating a drawing or painting of a plant is a great way to really notice and remember all of its beautiful details.

Art supplies/kits will be provided by Watermark. Kits will include paint, brushes, pens, and extra paper, and will go home with students.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from Region 2 Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Additional support comes from the Bemidji Area Arts Council.
