“Listening for the Native Heartbeat: How Northern Minnesota Shaped me as a Writer”
There is a power and a presence in this northern Minnesota land that shapes all who live upon it. In this presentation, Kent will speak of the layers of meaning he found in the north country — from the cultural to the spiritual — how they informed his sensibilities as a writer and what they have to teach others who practice the arts here in the north country.
