October 23, 30, November 6, 13
Registration required, call Watermark at 218-444-7570
No fee, each participant should plan to attend all four sessions in the workshop

Fingerweaving is one of many traditional methods utilizing ordinary materials to make a beautiful object for use in daily life. We’ll start with medium weight woolen yarn and set up our project using wooden sticks. A hat band or bag strap is easy to complete during the class time, but if you wish to make a wider and longer belt/sash, you will need to do your homework.

Jeff Harper Bio

I’m from the Leech Lake Reservation and grew up in Cass Lake. I embrace minobimaadiziwin – good way of life – and am a lifelong student. I enjoy carving wood, working with metal, tanning deer skins, weaving, and everything else I can learn to do.
