Join watercolor artist Darcy Brambrink in creating a beautiful floral inspired painting involving a “loose” approach with the use of Brusho dry powders, watercolor inks, salt, and Daniel Smith watercolors.
Students will learn how to manipulate a wet on wet techniques while using cut credit cards, small brush and loose dry powders with watercolor inks. Students will also learn how to properly mat their 9 x 12 finished painting so it may be
ready to frame in a 11 x 14 finished size.
Included with this class is 300 gm watercolor CP paper, Brusho powders, Daniel Smith watercolors, brushes, mat and backboard.
Instructor Darcy Brambrink is a member of the Minnesota Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society.
Additional Info to Participants:
Students are encouraged to bring a hair dryer to speed up drying time, and an old credit card that may be cut up to use in the process of this painting.
