Begins FEB 19 Star-Quilt Wall-Hanging

SOLD OUT!

THIS WORKSHOP HAS ENDED

Flora Jones, also known as Binay She Oog ( Little Birds) is a proud member of the Red Lake Band of Ojibwe. Her “other half” is a hereditary Chief, whom she shares 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grand babies with. Utilizing her easy-going spirit, she has shared her knowledge, teaching many people in the community how to sew star quilts and ribbon skirts over the years. She always puts her family first, still taking care of 4 grandkids, but she finds time to sew every chance she gets!

Flora Jones will be leading participants through the process of making a 4 color star (four “rows”) wall hanging. This 2 day workshop will leave you with all the “know how”  needed to make any sized star quilt you would like to in the future. Materials, sewing supplies and sewing machines will be provided but feel free to bring yours IF you have things you like using.
