Take an “Art Break” at Watermark Art Center!
Friday, March 9th • 12 – 1 p.m.

Watermark Art Center and Bemidji State University present a noon performance by the Atlantic Reed Consort on March 9th at Watermark. Take an “art break” during your lunch hour and enjoy beautiful music in an inspiring setting! Coffee and cookies will be provided, but everyone is encouraged to bring a bag lunch to enjoy. Attendance is free.

candidSince 2010, The Atlantic Reed Consort has endeavored to bring chamber music to a broad audience in an unexpected format. A quintet comprised of oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet and bassoon, this cutting edge sound and style both embraces the contemporary and adds a new twist to the likes of Bach, Ravel and Gershwin.

The Atlantic Reed Consort has recently been featured in multiple appearances at the Smithsonian National Gallery of Art, as well as the Baltimore Composer’s Forum, INTERSECTIONS DC, Creative Alliance at the Patterson (Baltimore), and in January 2017 made their debut New York City performance in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.

Don’t miss your chance to hear this accomplished group while they’re in Bemidji! They will also be giving an evening concert at Bemidji State University on March 9th. Learn more here.
