SUPPLIES:
- Wax Paper
- Crayons
- Handheld Pencil Sharpener
- Brown Grocery Bag
- Iron
- Pen
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- String
Step 1:
Cut the ends of the grocery bag then cut the bag into two large pieces. Lay one piece down to protect your work area.
Step 2:
Begin with a sheet of wax paper approximately 12 by 16 inches. Fold in half then unfold. Sharpen crayons of the colors of your choice then deposit shavings on one half of the wax paper. This should be done evenly but not heavily. Leave about a half an inch of shaving-free border along the edges. Fold the other half of wax paper over the shavings to keep them in place.
Fold the other half of wax paper over the shavings to keep them in place.
Step 3:
Lay the other piece of grocery bag on top of your folded wax paper to protect your iron. Iron lightly on medium heat, checking melting progress every few passes. Stop when all shavings have melted and let cool.
Step 4:
Make a heart stencil from cardboard then trace and cut out.
Tape on windows or use string to hang.
