In addition to the exhibit at Watermark, there will be other Fiber Arts exhibits, demonstrations, and events held throughout the weekend, with participating studios run from Bemidji to Fosston.

The weekend will begin Friday, April 8 with keynote speaker Kate Anderson, a nationally-recognized fiber artist, painter, former gallery owner, and arts speaker. An artist reception and trail member exhibit will precede Anderson’s talk, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Northwest Minnesota Foundation in downtown Bemidji. Anderson will give her presentation at 7 p.m., sharing her experiences in both artistic endeavors and business practices, giving the audience insight into the world of promoting, exhibiting, and answering calls for entry.
