Revelations in Rep Weave Workshop With Master Weaver and Teacher, Kelly Marshall

The workshop will provide instruction on completion of a rep weave project. Teaching methods will include demonstration, development/practice of fundamental techniques, problem solving, class instruction, and one on one assistance.

Each participant will be expected to bring a loom, warped according to instructions provided by the instructor. You will receive the instructions prior to the workshop. The instructions are for warping either a 4 or 8 harness shaft pattern, to create a 10” wide table runner.

Additional Details for Participants

  • This workshop is suitable for intermediate to advanced weavers.
  • Students must bring their own pre-warped loom (either 4-shaft or 8-shaft).
  • Students must supply: colored weft thread and colored pencils. A list of handouts will be sent out approximately 6 weeks before the class.
  • Workshop is located at Watermark Art Center 505 Bemidji Ave N in Bemidji, MN, call 218-444-7570.
