EXHIBIT Feb 3 – May 19. This show celebrates the women artists in the collections and their contributions to the art world. Women have been part of the history of art since the beginning. But women have never been accepted and valued the same as male artists.
RECEPTION Feb 10. Exhibit Feb 10 – April 28.The lively, whimsical paintings explore the stories experienced by flora and fauna hidden in the forest on one warm spring day. The artist’s brush strokes and color choices were influenced by discoveries made when she explored this unseen and unheard world. EXHIBIT March 6. Aanikoosijigaade – It is Linked. The connecting of stories; things old brought to new is an idea that will be translated by two new and emerging artists.

In conjunction with multidisciplinary artist Moira Villiard’s Exhibit “Rights of the Child” Watermark Art Center will hold a panel discussion regarding the rights and policies implemented by governments that invest in child development such as health care, nutrition and stronger safeguards intended to protect children from violence and exploitation.

His childhood was punctuated by a volatile mother and an unpredictable stepfather. Barbara, Uncharted Course Through Borderline Personality Disorder is the culmination of a decade of research and interviews with mental health professionals as Affield learns to understand and appreciate the woman who haunted his childhood.
