Looking Back
A Retrospective for Laura

EXHIBIT January 12 – April 27, 2024

“Looking Back” pays tribute to the invaluable dedication of Laura Goliaszewski who recently retired from Bemidji State University (BSU). Her remarkable stewardship over the past 17 years has been instrumental in curating and nurturing their Harlow/Kleven teaching collection originally created in the 1970’s by alumni Margaret Harlow (ceramics) and Lillie Kleven (prints).

Goliaszewski’s profound expertise in preservation techniques, art epochs, and stylistic nuances remains ceaseless. The collection has flourished under her attentive care, and her absence will undoubtedly be keenly felt.

These pieces offer a glimpse into a diverse array of selections from the ceramics and prints collections of Bemidji State University. These collections embody a rich tapestry of artistic evolution and cultural significance.
