RECEPTION Friday December 1, 5 – 7pm. EXHIBIT Dec 1 – Feb 24, 2024. Bedford is moved by the significance of living close to the Headwaters of the Mississippi River. Her paintings, full of color and emotion, have an expressive quality and also an abstract nature, yet refer to an image or scene from her new home in the North Woods of Minnesota.
Watermark’s Poetry SLAMs are competitive events in which poets perform spoken word poetry before a live audience and a panel of judges. Poets are not required to memorize their poems and are welcome to use notes.

RECEPTION Nov 3, 5 – 7pm. AWARDS at 6pm. EXHIBIT Nov 3 – Dec 23.” It’s Only Clay” is a juried ceramics competition focusing on, and dedicated to, functional clay vessels. Submissions are judged in four areas: function, form/aesthetic, craftsmanship, and surface design.
EXHIBIT Extended through Dec 2023. The most successful works of art utilize design elements to hit an emotional cord in the viewer. These prints and ceramics were developed using principles of design to maximize connections with the viewer.
EXHIBIT Sept 8 – Nov 25. Reception TBD. Jensen is a painter, textile artist, and teacher working out of her downtown Minneapolis studio. Her work is an invitation for viewers to join her in a fantastical world of imagination that’s grounded in the often elusive sense of place, home, and shelter.
RECEPTION Sep 15. EXHIBIT Sep 9 – Nov11. Joyce Arndt was cut off from her cultural identity during much of her childhood. As a toddler, she was placed in foster care and became homeless as a young woman. Knowing that her identity as a Native American was portrayed negatively because of stereotypes and racism, she began to use art as a way to portray her people in a positive light.
ARTISTS TALK SEP 26 AT 6:30. EXHIBIT Aug 11 – Oct 21. Mixed Media artists and longtime friends come together and share their abstract works of hard lines and shapes.
Enrollment closed. This group is for serious authors of all publishing paths. Authors will learn from Emily Enger, founder of Good Enough Book Marketing, and spend time working independently on the marketing strategies they choose.

RECEPTION: May 12 5-7pm. EXHIBIT: May 12 – August 26. M. E. Fuller Is a Minnesota visual artist working primarily on canvas and paper using acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media. Her most recent works depict abstract and energetic landscapes and mindscapes.
