Reception: Oct 1, 5-7pm. Exhibit: October 1 – November 27, 2021. This exhibit is the outgrowth of a recently published chapbook sharing his life as an artist. By focusing on abstract concepts, Alberti says he has let color dominate and control his expressions with color becoming the tool of investigation and discovery.

Presentation September 16 6pm. Exhibit July 2 – Sep 25, 2021: The word “reflection” can describe a contemplative mental state or the mirroring of light, particularly the reflection off water – a centerpiece of northern Minnesota identity. One hopes that the exhibit illustrates the fusion of both meanings into the viewer’s experience creating visual artistry through a lens.
Exhibit & Video: May 5 – July 24, 2021. Working from the theme of the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show, BURY THE HATCHET explores issues of assimilation, acculturation, and indoctrination through oral history and music.

A journey across the globe with the Artists of Studio 10 share their work resulting from their travels, taking the viewers on a virtual tour of the globe, demonstrating that all parts of the Earth are filled with fascinating people and places, beauty, and history.

Exhibit May 7 – May 24, 2021. The exhibit will showcase work by students from Bemidji High School, Trek North High School, and Laporte High School and will be held in the Lakeview Gallery and Education Studio Gallery.
Exhibit & Online Image Gallery: February 5 – May 21, 2021: From Bemidji State University’s Harlow-Kleven teaching collection, “A Different Way to Look at It” challenges viewers to think about what the artists have achieved in their creation of abstract art.
Exhibit & Online Image Gallery February 17 – May 1, 2021: Years of witnessing plants and animals adapt to phenological changes and seasonal cycles, certain elements have surfaced to intertwine with visual fiber artist Kirsten Anderson’s life. Her wool-felted tapestries are an exploration of these relationships their circles of connection and reciprocity.
Exhibit & Online Image Gallery: February 5 – May 1, 2021. Granlund’s regular visits to the Minnesota/Canada border, to explore the landscape of his father’s childhood, have forged an attentiveness to its unique combination of water, rocks, trees and sky.
Exhibit, Slideshow & Online Gallery: January 13 – April 24, 2021. Ne-Dah-Ness is a well-known photographer in the Indigenous world. She is regularly sought out to photograph important evens and specialized photo shoots. Her imagery prompts a visceral reaction from her viewers, while evoking emotion from the “movements” she captures.

Exhibit & Online Slideshow: November 7 – December 23, 2020. The 2020 exhibit is dedicated to 2004 IOC juror, Bill Gossman who passed away earlier this year and will include the work of eight additional jurors .
Each year the exhibit is dedicated to functional clay vessels. Work must also meet high standards of form, craftsmanship, and surface design. Multiple pieces from each potter will allow viewers to understand their unique vision and aesthetic. In addition, artists will have work available for immediate purchase.
Exhibit & Virtual Exhibit: November 2, 2020 – January 22, 2021. These selected works from the Harlow/Kleven Collections showcase a collection of ceramic and print work from the BSU collections that focuses on art that “tell“ a story. The objects in the show may illustrate or imply a story that the artist wants the viewer to consider.
